Christians Against Poverty Debt Centre
If you are feeling weighed down by debt, then we can help.
You may think your situation is impossible, but there is hope.
Our friendly team will give you a listening ear in the privacy of your own home and provide a real solution to your debts.
Since CAP UK started helping people out of debt in 1996, we’ve helped thousands in situations like yours through our professional service offered by over 300 CAP Debt Centres.
We have a CAP Debt Centre based at Gillingham Baptist Church.
This is managed by Ruth Millard.
We have a number of ways in which we can offer pastoral support through out the week. From a chat at a parent and toddler group to coffee mornings.
We also have a Family Outreach Worker who supports new families in our local community. See what's on with the link below to get involved.
We also have various community groups who use premises for social and learning activities. These include:
A Pre-School (run by the Salvation Army)
Cookery classes for those with learning difficulties
To the ends of the earth ...
Support to Organisations & Individuals.
Currently we are supporting:
a family working with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) in Kenya (eastern Africa).
A child in Haiti (via Compassion International).
A family working with BMS (Baptist Missionary Society) in a hospital in Chad.
We also support various organisations including Tear Fund.
