Here you can find out all of the different activities and programs we support both locally and around the globe.


Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic some of these activities have been suspended or curtailed.

Children & Youth

At Gillingham Baptist we cater for all ages.

On Sundays we have groups for:

  • Babies (creche);

  • Children's Church - Age appropriate groups

  • Bible Class - 11 to 18 years  (See also 'Teenagers' below)

1st Gillingham Boys Brigade and Girls Association

It's a  fun Friday evening of learning new stuff, meeting new people
and making good friends.


Anchors:  Ages 4 to 8  (6 to 7.30pm)

Juniors:  Ages 9 to 11  (6 to 7.30pm)

Company and Seniors:  Ages 11 to 19  (7.45 to 9.30pm)

Subscriptions are only £3.00 (Free for the first week of attendance).


We have an active Bible study group for those 11 to 18 years on Sunday mornings and once a  month an extended time 'Getting Serious with God'.


Sometimes trips to other churches and concerts are arranged.
Come and join in, it is better than being at home in front of the TV.

Christians Against Poverty Debt Centre

If you are feeling weighed down by debt, then we can help.

You may think your situation is impossible, but there is hope.

Our friendly team will give you a listening ear in the privacy of your own home and provide a real solution to your debts.

Since CAP UK started helping people out of debt in 1996, we’ve helped thousands in situations like yours through our professional service offered by over 300 CAP Debt Centres.

We have a CAP Debt Centre based at Gillingham Baptist Church.

This is managed by Ruth Millard.

Pastoral Support

We have a number of ways in which we can offer pastoral support through out the week.  From a chat at a parent and toddler group to coffee mornings.

We also have a Family Outreach Worker who supports new families in our local community.  See what's on with the link below to get involved.

Support to Organisations & Individuals.

Currently we are supporting:


  • a family working with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) in Kenya (eastern Africa).


  • A child in Haiti (via Compassion International).


  • A family working with BMS (Baptist Missionary Society) in a hospital in Chad.


We also support various organisations including Tear Fund.
