WE BELIEVE …..

In a loving heavenly Father who made us and wants the very best for us.

He loves us so much that he sent his only Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for us.  Jesus was buried but rose again three days later and is alive today with the Father in heaven.  Through this sacrificial act of love it is possible for us to receive forgiveness and new eternal life if we believe and commit our lives to Him.

That the Holy Spirit is given to all those who believe and trust in Him. He is sent to make the truths of God
a living reality in our lives.

There is one worldwide Church.  It comprises all those who believe that Jesus Christ died for them and accept His gift of forgiveness and new life.  Commitment to a local branch (of the church) is strongly encouraged.

Prayer is direct communication with the living God.  It is essential to the Christian Life both for the individual and for the church.  It involves speaking and taking time to listen to what He is saying to us.

God has given us a handbook for life, the Bible, it is His Holy word.  It is as relevant today as it was at the time it was written and it is fundamental to our lives, both as individuals and as a church.

Worship of God is a priority in our lives and forms a major part of our local church services.  It is varied and open to the prompting of the Holy Spirit.

Baptism by full immersion is the sign by which those who believe in Jesus profess their repentance and faith in Him.

Communion is the act by which we share bread and wine in remembrance of Jesus’ death, until He comes again.  Communion may be taken by anyone who knows and loves Jesus.
