Activities for Children & Young People


STEPS:    10 to 11.15am  (school term time only)

A baby and toddler group that  meets during school term times.  It's for Mums, Dads, Carers and their young ones (under fives).  An opportunity for a chat, refreshments and a listening ear.  There are plenty of toys etc for all the young ones.

There is a separate programme for children & young people on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th Sunday mornings in each month.  They leave for their activities after an opening worship time in church.

CRÈCHE:    For those under 3

We aim to provide a safe and happy environment for these young children to play in during the morning service.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH:    Comprises two groups (3 to 7) and (7 to 11) years.

We aim to provide a relaxed, fun and enjoyable atmosphere in which to explore the Bible together and build relationships with the children

BIBLE CLASS:    For those 11+.

We aim to discuss Bible teaching / moral and ethical topics in a relevant and engaging
way, to enable young people to relate faith to their everyday lives, and to equip them to
live for Christ.

An evening of fun and friendship….

Based at Gillingham Baptist Church we meet during school term time:

Anchors:                       6 to 7.30pm (5-8 year olds)

Juniors:                         6 to 7.30pm (8-11 year olds)

Company & Seniors:    7.45 to 9.30pm (11-19 year olds)

Subscriptions are only £2.00 (Free for the first week of attendance).

All staff are CRB/DBS checked and registered leaders with Boys’ Brigade headquarters.
